Many producers and directors have been waiting outside Nakul’s residence to sign him up for their next ventures. The ever-increasing box-office collections of ‘Kadhalil Vizhundhaen’ have done wonders to Nakul’s career, which was in the doldrums after the debacle of ‘Boys’. The fatty Nakul in ‘Boys’ worked out a lot in gym and has transformed himself into the slim-looking guy that he is in ‘Kadhalil Vizhundhaen’.
The unprecedented publicity being given to the film by Sun Pictures through Sun TV has made a normal film into a super hit film. Distributors are said to be vying with each other to procure films that Nakul would be signing from now onwards. Nakul, however is determined that his next couple of films will only be produced by Sun Pictures and not by any other producers.
His close friends and well-wishers have appreciated him for his decision to act in Sun Pictures films only. Some others say that Nakul has erred by agreeing to act in a couple of films for Sun Pictures at a ‘lesser’ rate instead of doing films for other producers at a ‘higher’ rate. But for the publicity campaign by Sun Pictures, the fate of ‘Kadhalil...’ could have turned out to be anything and Nakul appears to be absolutely aware of that.
Nakul had reportedly sent back a producer who offered to sign him for his next film with a pay-packet of Rs. 1 crore.
